4.2 Topic: Videogames

Imagen
Video games are my favorite pastime of all things, there is a great variety of these, with different styles, game modes, durability and quality. There are action, adventure, simulation, fights, indies, etc. Personally, the ones I like the most are the indies, which are defined as video games created by individuals or small groups, without financial support from distributors, since they tend to be more innovative, with my favorites being  "Hollow Knight" and "Stardew Valley". But the funniest way, and the one I laugh about the most, is with online video games, like ¨ league of legends¨ (LOL) or ¨dead by daylight¨ (DBD), although they are competitive and can be played individually, playing it with friends or well-known people is a completely different experience, it is extremely fun, you laugh at situations, you can tell stories, get clear or just hang out, things that in situations like the ones we live in today (quarantine) are very comforting since we cannot meet p...

4.1 Story of a photograph

Imagen
Well, this is a very strange and a bit bizarre story, with some friends we had made an agreement to go to a very busy disco, one of the most popular at the time, in order to enter, you had to sign up on a list and arrive at a specific time, the point is that we fell behind and arrived at the just time, the place was so full that when we managed to get to the door, our time had passed and they did not let us in, as we had already arranged and were ready, we went to another, but this was super expensive, afterwards, the normal night passed, very entertaining, the problem is that when we got to our houses we connected to Instagram, and we found out that in the disco where they did not let us in there was a huge fight, several girls were very hurt, seriously injured, insults and even theft of cell phones. For once, lateness saved me

The scientific power of meditation

Imagen
What do you think of the video? Do you meditate? Why? Do you feel it works? Why? - I think that the way he explains meditation is good, he explains it from a scientific field that allows people who are more skeptical or who do not believe in spirituality to consider doing it, or at least give it a try - I do not meditate, I think that if I do not do it well, it will be irrelevant that I do it, I will not achieve a real change and I will end up leaving it, but I do think it works, i know because I know people, friends and acquaintances who meditate, and mention that it is very useful, in addition to noticing positive changes in them, such as getting away from excesses, getting more sleep and feeling better. How are you feeling these days? Why? - I feel quite overwhelmed, my life has become a routine, and that depresses me, in addition to the problems that happen such as power outages, internet outages or that we only have a computer in the home, online classes complicate me, due to that...

Gender Roles and Stereotypes

Imagen
I consider gender roles to be a simple way to pigeonhole people, to assume that they should do things because this way they have been taught it is simpler than to assume their responsibilities, leave the tedious tasks and without economic remuneration to the other(women as a housewife) , or to wait to have someone take over the house economically(man as head of household)in a simpler traditional system. It is for this comfort that I consider it more difficult to make people understand that gender does not classify you with certain activities, which leads to it still existing so strongly in most of the world.
